No Kendo Practice on December 28th or January 4th 2012

New Year's meal

All, The New year's meal will take place on Wednesday 4th January 2012 at the AGNI Indian restaurant @ 7.30 p.m. (the same one as last year). Please let Mark know if you will attend.

The first practice back in the YMCA will be on the 11th January.

Mumeishi 3s 2011

Best performance (2 wins)- Tony, and Rod put in an excellent performance in his first shiai. All in all we had a good time. Roll on the our next shiai!

GB Squad training in Wales

Had a good time this past weekend fencing with the kendoka who attended the GB squad training. It was a pity that more of the club did not/could not attend. Next GB Squad training in Liverpool.

Congratulations to Tony on gaining Shodan.

Army Invitational Taikai 3's

The team made it to the semi finals - great result. Man of the matches...James, first ippon of the whole taikai...Mark, and Tony did not lose a match.

New Gi

Hopefully the new Club Kendo Gi's will be ready by 23rd March.
